Community-Led Interoperability - Hyperbridge Wraps Up IRO with Strong Backing and Adoption
Hyperbridge, the Polkadot rollup advancing multi-chain interoperability, has successfully completed its Initial Relayer Offering (IRO), raising $2.8 million. This brings its total funding to $5.65 million, including investments from its pre-seed and seed rounds.
Hyperbridge is a Polkadot-based protocol designed to enable seamless, secure, and scalable cross-chain interoperability. By leveraging advanced zero-knowledge technology, it allows users and developers to transfer assets, send messages, and query state across multiple blockchain ecosystems, including Ethereum, Optimism, Base, Gnosis, and more.
The IRO gave early supporters the opportunity to acquire $BRIDGE tokens, which power governance and transactions within the Hyperbridge network. IRO participants are the first to engage with, and own a piece of the protocol as it expands its cross-chain integrations and zk-powered infrastructure.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the support from our community and strategic partners,” said Seun Lanlege, founder of Polytope Labs - the developers of Hyperbridge. “This funding validates our vision for truly decentralized interoperability and brings us closer to delivering a scalable, secure, and permissionless network for cross-chain applications.”
About Hyperbridge
Hyperbridge is a cryptoeconomic coprocessor for secure, verifiable interoperability powered by consensus and storage proofs. It acts as the HTTPS of blockchain interoperability, providing developers with onchain and off-chain SDKs for securely sending cross-chain messages (POST requests) and reading on-chain storage (GET requests).
